CRM reports in Telegram: what a manager needs every day.
Which CRM metrics belong in a short daily Telegram summary, and which changes should trigger a separate sales alert.
Do not move the whole dashboard into a message
A daily summary should answer one question: “Do I need to act on anything today?” Keep only a few numbers such as revenue, new deals, a key conversion, stalled deals and data freshness.
Separate the summary from the alert
A summary arrives on schedule and gives context. An alert is for a meaningful deviation or a data source that stopped updating. Mixing the two makes every message feel urgent.
Include a comparison
A number without context is hard to interpret. Put the current value next to a comparable previous period or a stable internal baseline so the direction of change is visible.
Report data problems before sales problems
If the CRM stopped updating, say that before reporting a revenue drop. Otherwise the manager receives a confident conclusion built on incomplete data.
Leave a path to the detail
Telegram is good for attention, not for the whole investigation. The message should say which metric changed and which segment contributed most, then point the manager toward the underlying detail.
